What made you want to specialize in Neurodiversity and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy?

Despite working in the mental health field since 2008, it was not until navigating my own journey as a late-identified Autistic ADHD'er that I decided to open Authentic Therapy Services LLC - Founded on the vision of providing counseling for neurodivergent and queer clients who have historically felt unseen (or even harmed) by traditional approaches to mental health treatment.

What do your experiences mean for potential clients?

As a queer AuDHD’er, I understand the importance of finding a therapist that truly “gets” it… You shouldn’t need to educate your therapist in order to obtain help, nor should you feel like you have to prove the legitimacy of your experiences in order to feel seen. I am passionate in always striving to foster a space that emphasizes safety, validation, and personal exploration for all neurotypes and identities.

Passionate About Working With:

Adults Exploring Unidentified Neurodivergence
Autists, AuDHD, and ADHD'ers
Queer and Trans Community
Plural Systems

Lived Experience

AuDHD, Queer, Gender Fluid / Non-Binary

Outside of therapy, you’ll find me:

• Deep diving into my special interests of psychology and neurodiversity.
• Hyperfocused on planning my next travel adventure.
• Ordering more books than I will ever have time to read.
• Listening to my favorite music on repeat & re-watching favorite movies from the 90’s and 00’s.
• Hoping to order sushi for dinner (regardless of last time consumed).
